§ 5.32.230. Civil remedies and criminal penalties.

A.

The city attorney may bring an action to enjoin a violation of this chapter.

B.

A violation of any provision of this chapter may be prosecuted as a misdemeanor punishable under Section 1.24.110 of this code or pursuant to applicable state law.

C.

If a violation of Penal Code Section 326.3(d) or Section 326.5(b) is filed by a prosecutorial agency, then such violation shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed ten thousand dollars, which fine shall be deposited in the general fund of the city.
